I finally caught 881 today, late but better than never.

Alot of people mentioned that it was over-rated, some damned it to oblivion and a number questioned the directing style.

I liked it for the plot fits together nicely and basically it was well written. The "powers" and the mythical elements in the movie is probably magical realism running inth the veins of yet another Singaporean writer.

When was the last time you shared something with someone else? When was it that you treasured the person next to you?

100 words: Dusty Trails

Scanning the growing crowds along the packed riverfront, I was questioning the long wait when the void that was the empty sky suddenly sparked into life, an orgasmic flurry of searing lights flashing the swatches of night sky.

Glowing trails climbed and seek out the atmosphere before bursting into spatters of colorful radial sparkles that spread as it descends back to earth.

The finale was marked by a continuous surge of pyrotechnics exploding into thousands of colors, only to leave dusty smoke trails lingering in the air – an indelible mark to us that this stage of our lives has ended.
