How I wish

How I wish that I can go back in time, to when you were still around. Tolerant of my inimical attitudes and wilful behaviours, understanding to the distance I had decided to keep between us.

How I wish that not only can I go back in time, but I also pray to stop it in it's chronological tracks, so that I can hold that moment in my arms and press it hard against me.
