April Snow - 100 words
The snow rested briefly on the windscreen before it's wiped away.
And it repeats.
The snowflakes hurl themselves from the sky and pelt their bodies onto the cold glass before it's mechanically swiped like the hindrance it bears on you.
The monotonous scenery interrupted by the short bursts of white before it resumes it's dull blurry green as you drive down the meandering roads, hummings of the engine quietly filling the empty space beside you as you stepped on the clutch and engaged a lower gear.
A part of you wishes that this journey never end.
What about the other?
And it repeats.
